Putting out the Candles on Madonna's Crown



Madonna Tenebrae stands at the centre as her candles are snuffed-out.
 
MC: Our magick is averse
at the Dark of the Moon.
(a candle dowsed.)
 
R.3: Night is dead,
at the Dark of the Moon.
(a candle dowsed.)
 
R.4: The face of Luna is hidden from us,
at the Dark of the Moon.
(a candle dowsed.)
 
R.1: The Mirror of Night has clouded over,
at the Dark of the Moon.
(a candle dowsed.)
 
R.2: The mind has become dim,
at the Dark of the Moon.
(a candle dowsed.)
 
MC: The Soul in Hell,
at the Dark of the Moon.
(a candle dowsed.)
 
R.3: Our Lady Madonna is dead,
at the Dark of the Moon.
(a candle dowsed.)
 
MC: Silence!
 
Followed by the Dark Mother dirge chant:
ALL: Rhwng yr byd, clwd Marw, I dychwelyd,
i'r tywyll Mam.
(Pronounced: Rhoong ir bood, clooid Maroo, e deckhuelid, ir teooel Mam.)
Between the the worlds, gateway of Death, I return below, to the Dark Mother.
 
Madonna Tenebrae disappears and Bella Lumen enters in the dark and takes her place at the centre. Bella Lumen is dressed as a bride.
