I've devoted most of my adult life to the exploration of the Occult and Witchcraft, running many pagan festivals, circles and workshops. The value to be found in such study is to give expression to the psychic dimension of our lives; so that the ritual work may be approached both as a 'spiritualised' practice, as well as 'practical magick'.

The magickal and occult revival in which we are joined is a response to a deep spiritual need from across a wide spectrum of society. It is not a proselytizing movement, rather the awakening is occurring spontaneously in the Psyche of each individual. The greater scientific understanding of the micro-macrocosm has gone a long way toward bridging any fears of the apparent 'Unknown'; and has enabled the dreaming of the Collective Psyche to melt away the repression of those who fear the 'nightside' of the Self. Magick when properly understood holds the key to the repository of a spiritual discipline which is concerned with the enigma of existence.

While I have explored a number of magickal traditions, such as witchcraft, alchemy, thelema, voudoun, shamanism, tantra and so on, one does not have to turn the clock backwards in order to achieve the benefits from these legacies. I have found it is quite possible to blend a synthesis of the traditional ways into a contemporary setting which suits our modern needs.
